Key Responsibilities
You will deliver exceptional patient care and support a collaborative healthcare environment focused on safety and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, identifying deviations from normal and responding immediately.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to code blue and emergency situations with composure and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (New grads with exceptional performance considered).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
