Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, alerting providers to any changes or deterioration.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to patient recovery.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, strictly adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates with a valid RN license are encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and documentation systems.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
