Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop/modify individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (Med-Surg, ICU, or Telemetry).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS/PALS preferred based on unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
