Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms, to identify changes in condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations, utilizing advanced clinical judgment.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.
- Valid state identification and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
