Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and medical records.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred (Med-Surg or Telemetry experience is a plus).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
