Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using advanced life support protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (RN license required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in Med/Surg or telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain current status)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
