Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, documenting all changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and critical care needs within the unit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Missouri or Kansas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
