Job Summary
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to improving patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in triage situations.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and disease prevention.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in unit rounds and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required; PALS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with EHR systems.
