Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care activities and clinical information accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
