Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, educating families and patients on care plans and health maintenance strategies.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in code blue situations or critical care interventions.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Licensure: Valid and unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; New Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making abilities, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Soft Skills: Empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
