Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and update medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Participate in unit rounds, shift handovers, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active RN License in the state of New Mexico.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new clinical procedures.
