Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care and health management.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate assistance when necessary.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for new hires).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and electronic health record (EHR) experience is a plus.
- Willingness to participate in orientation and residency programs.
