Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and progress accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and assist in code blue situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment to ensure patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to learn and grow in the healthcare field.
