Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge planning, and health promotion.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).
Qualifications
- Current, active California RN License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Graduated within the last 12-18 months from an accredited Nursing Program (New Grad/Graduate Nurse).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
