Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing team immediately.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with safety protocols and hospital policy.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and medical history accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for patient care.
