Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the nursing team.
- Assist physicians and senior nurses with examinations and treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient health history, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
