Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU/Telemetry units with 24/7 physician coverage
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol with precise documentation in Epic EHR
- Monitor critical patients using advanced telemetry systems and respond rapidly to changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during emergency situations and codes
- Mentor new staff through our structured onboarding program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives targeting patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years ICU experience accepted
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year acute care night shift experience preferred
- Expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking skills during high-pressure scenarios
- Electronic Health Records proficiency (Epic preferred)
