Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, lab results, and treatment responses throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous fluids according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized, high-quality patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, code blue activations, and critical situations.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, medication management, and disease prevention.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment while adhering to strict infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, including rotating weekends and holidays.
