Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, adhering to evidence-based protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination during overnight hours
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems with meticulous attention to detail
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with advanced critical care interventions
- Mentor new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Oversee patient safety protocols during high-acuity overnight periods
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in Med/Surg or ICU setting
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and night shift colleagues
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient care needs during overnight shifts
