Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, identifying changes or deteriorations that require immediate intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care plans, assessments, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during their hospital stay.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and healing environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends as required.
