Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical exams and history taking.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, escalating concerns immediately.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and clinical findings accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication adherence.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in a hospital or critical care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team during night shifts.
