Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities, treatments, and responses.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards of patient care and safety.
