Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health conditions and vital signs 24/7.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to families.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nebraska required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS preferred).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
