Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive remote patient assessments and triage using secure telehealth platforms.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status throughout the night shift, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation in EHR systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding their health conditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and distraction-free home office environment to ensure professional care delivery.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and compliance training.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telehealth, ICU, or critical care.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong computer proficiency with experience navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace are mandatory.
