Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during night shifts, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations to ensure patient safety and stability.
- Educate patients and their families regarding discharge instructions, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with hospital safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
