Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care or specialty units.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during night shifts.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
