Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the broader healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to families.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
