Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress accurately in EHR systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Respond immediately to patient needs and emergencies within your scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to patient-centered care.
