Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Assist with daily living activities and patient mobility as required.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate or Bachelor's Degree).
- Active RN License in the state of Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain).
- Completion of NCLEX examination.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift patients up to 50 lbs.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
