Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in performing examinations and treatments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance as needed.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
