Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by licensed providers.
- Document patient care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth hospital operations.
- Educate patients and their families on post-care instructions, medications, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to advocate for the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or Diploma) is required.
- Current, active RN License in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; ACLS preferred but not required for new hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for healthcare and a desire to pursue a career in nursing.
