Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and wellness.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in critical care situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Virginia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate nature and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
