Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care provided.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
