Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes to the care team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings to enhance unit operations.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
