Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all findings accurately in EHR.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with code blue or trauma protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
