Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized nursing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Providing patient education and discharge planning instructions to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and healing environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates with exceptional clinical skills will be considered.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
