Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using our EHR system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and hospital policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Indiana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg, Telemetry, or ICU preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
