Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Health: Perform comprehensive physical exams and take detailed medical histories to evaluate patient needs.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and home healthcare management.
- Critical Monitoring: Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions to detect changes that may require medical intervention.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Florida.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (fresh graduates encouraged for trainee roles).
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
