Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress continuously to ensure safety and recovery.
- Administer medications, treatments, and medications via IV lines according to strict medical protocols.
- Document patient care activities, including intake and output, in electronic health records accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
