Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status closely.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately, timely, and completely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication adherence, and disease prevention.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized healthcare environment.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Part-time availability (e.g., days, nights, weekends, or PRN shifts).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Previous experience in acute care or similar clinical settings is preferred.
