Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and symptom analysis to determine patient needs.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on schedule, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and clinical data, documenting changes immediately.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
