Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously to identify any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately and timely.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
