Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians in strict accordance with medical protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and healthcare procedures.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Nevada.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (New graduates with excellent clinical rotations will be considered).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Computer literacy with Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred.
