Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care units with diverse case loads
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergent situations using rapid response protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process audits
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg or ICU setting
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays
