Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or potential complications to the nursing team immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Minnesota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
