Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the supervision of physicians and charge nurses.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computerized charting systems.
