Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with healthcare protocols and regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document accurate, detailed medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
