Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and symptoms, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and computer systems.
