Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication side effects, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical findings.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical care situations.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients at all times while adhering to infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN License in the State of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Previous clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of nursing, including standing for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
