Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously, recognizing changes in status and intervening promptly to prevent complications.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond to medical emergencies with composure and execute appropriate life-saving procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as necessary; physical stamina for a fast-paced environment.
